Born and raised in Vienna, myย roots are in Eastย Africa and I call the worldย my home. My insatiable interestย in history and geography led me to pursue a political science degree at Ohio University.ย Shortly after graduating, I began a career with the United Nations. Globalย politics play a big role inย my life.ย I love to stay abreast of current issues and analyze their impact on society throughย my writing.ย I decided to goย back to schoolย to reactivateย my gray cells and essentially improveย my writing. Currently wrapping upย myย associates in journalism,ย I found it a privilege to have been managing editor of the Pinnacle for the last two semesters.
