Horses, firetrucks and bands marched down Main Street on Aug. 19 during the Western Welcome Week Grand Parade.
The Grand Parade— an annual tradition — is just one part of Western Welcome Week celebrations. Throughout the week, a variety of events geared towards different ages and interests brought together the Littleton community.
This year’s parade theme was “Saddle Up!” The parade not only offered a community celebration, but a competition as well. The Mayor’s Trophy for the parade was awarded to the Bega Littleton Sister City Exchange float, while the Parade Chair Trophy was awarded to the float for One Hope Church.
