That being said, Desert Donuts also offers up to 62 cooked, fresh-to-order donuts, along with donut ice cream pies, donut protein bowls, biscuits and donuts, and fried chicken donuts. Desert Donuts also offers a full coffee selection of iced and hot.   

 For those with dietary restrictions, Desert Donuts goes the extra mile by offering a selection of gluten-free donuts that don’t compromise on flavor or texture.

In addition, these treats are made with alternative flours that keep them light and fluffy while still delivering the same donut sweetness.  

When you walk into the location, the smell of sugary goodness greets you immediately. You are met with a choice of lines.

You can either move along on the right side building your donut as you go to “subway sandwich” style, or you can choose the other line where you choose from the very extensive menu of that previously described 62 options.

You write it on a colorful post-it notepad and present it to the donut master (I made that name myself). After you pay, you can follow them around to the design area. It is an open view, so you can watch as they make your donut right there!

When they call your name, you get your donut on a paper plate. It comes fresh out of the fryer, hot, and made to order. I have been to Desert Donuts multiple times, and the donut has met expectations every time.

It comes out hot. I choose to let it cool a bit before diving in. My treat of choice the last couple of times has been the cookie monster donut. The picture is included here. If you can get past the eyes watching you munch on it, it is a delight.
