Have a few perfectly good items sitting around your home collecting dust? In need of some new duds? Maybe even some chic furniture and home goods? Check out Littleton’s own Act II, a consignment shop serving the community for over 34 years located at 1500 W Littleton Blvd.

Not only is Act II good for the environment as they help prevent unwanted stuff making its way to landfills, but they’re also good for the economy. This is because the consignment shop encourages its consumers to spend their money in a local small business rather than the huge discount retailers like Walmart and Target.

Act II also promote social responsibility as well, giving people with less income (Ex. students) the ability to purchase nicer items they might not be able to afford otherwise.

So what does Act II buy and sell? Everything! From Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs to Gap and Nine West as well as in style home goods and furniture. They are most interested in buying and selling high quality items in great condition, regardless of brand names.

IMG_20160306_114344They welcome you to come in anytime, with no limit on how much you can bring in. Although, they do ask that if you have a large load to drop it off and pick up what they can’t take later in the day. Also they ask that you have the items ready, cleaned, pressed and on hangers. If they decide that your items are sell-able, they keep 60% and you get 40%. Unless you bring in over $50 worth of items, then its a 50-50 split.

Any unsold items are donated to their Sister Charity store, Act II Last Call- Thrift Shoppe Outlet or to other local charities they support at the end of the consignment period. Making it less difficult to miss out on a sell.
