The Annual Great American Beer Festival is coming to the Colorado Convention Center October 6th through the 8th.  There will be plenty of room for the 3,500 different beers from 700 of the nation’s finest breweries.  The festival will be your opportunity to be a part of the largest selection of American Beer.  The festival has been going on since 1982, and hosted by The Brewers Association.

You have to be 21+ years old with a valid ID to attend. When you purchase a ticket, you will also be receiving a commemorative tasting cup, and unlimited one-ounce samples. Tickets are around 80$, and the festival even provides designated driver tickets for 25$. Free non alcoholic sodas will be available to every one. The designated drivers are welcome to the beer and food seminars and can walk the festival floor. There is also a designated driver lounge.

The Great American Beer Festival is also a competition. Brewing companies all over the nation submit their beer to be judged for the shot at this year’s best beer. They welcome all attendees to try out their candidate beers. With all the beer, food and booths at the festival, I don’t know if you’ll have the chance to try everything out.
