Congrats to the new 2016-17 Student Government Officers

The 2016-17 Student Government Representatives were announced on Wednesday, April 27, in the second floor Student Lounge.
The winners for each category were:
Tasha Estein- President
Daniel Madero – Vice President
Teresa Taylor – Secretary
Nate Bertz – Treasurer
Leah Porter – State Student Advisory Committee Representative
The results were acquired through a school-wide vote that was emailed earlier this month. There were over 200 students who participated in the vote. The Social Media Council is an appointed position and will not be announced until after the new session convenes in the Fall 2016 semester.
The new Student Government will perform a swearing-in ceremony at the Send Off BBQ on Tuesday, May 2. All students are welcome to stop by and meet their representatives, as well as participate in the day’s festivities.
