Method Man & Redman Returning to Denver
You now have one remaining chance to catch the singular hip-hop duo Method Man & Redman this week: Friday, April 20, at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Five Points.
From what I can gather, the duo’s performance at Red Rocks with 311 on April 19th is sold out, but the show at Cervantes is not….. yet. StubHub does have a limited number of tickets to “420 Eve on the Rocks”, but you had better act quickly if you wish to attend.
Anyway, perhaps the most entertaining stoner-duo next to Cheech & Chong, Method Man & Redman deliver bugged out East Coast flare through a conduit of rugged rhyme schemes and comedy. Whether performing solo or together, on stage or on screen, the Wu-Tang luminary and the Funkadelic Devil deliver in all formats. When two of the most recognizable and revered flow masters converge, would you expect anything other than a top-tier assembly?
Joining Red & Mr. Mef at the show is Chali 2na, one of the founders of L.A. hip-hop group Jurassic 5, whose inclusion on the bill ensures some quality control for the evening.
Since April 20 has become something of an annual holiday in Denver, do not delay in grabbing your tickets to this show! I suppose if you snooze and miss out, you still have the option of catching Snoop Dogg at Fiddler’s Green, but that pales in comparison to a night with Reggie and the M.E.T.H.O.D. Man.
Tickets are (hopefully) still available here, but act fast!
