Institutionalized! Suicidal Tendencies at Summit Music Hall March 10th
You’d rather feel like shit than be a piece of shit, no? Better yet, you shan’t feel that way if you attend Suicidal Tendencies’ show at the Summit next Friday.
Suicidal continues to deliver a fantastic live show, which is impressive, given their lengthy list of past members and the fact that they’ve been releasing material since 1983. Lead guitarist Dean Pleasants can lay down some seriously soaring solos with as much ardor as the past guitarists who originally cut them in the studio. The group’s stage presence combined with their mixture of thrash metal, hardcore punk, alternative and even prog makes for a live conglomerate of styles.
Direct support will come from NOLA progenitors Crowbar, who will lay down some of the heaviest riffs of not only the night, but the year as well.
The night will be a special one for Denver’s own thrash titans Havok, who will be releasing their fourth studio LP the same day as this show.
If I failed to obtain your interest with Crowbar and Suicidal, I’m thinking the sound of a new Havok LP in your hands will get your ass in gear to at least attend their set.
You can still snag tickets from the Summit Music Hall’s website.
Come to support Havok but stay to rage with legends Crowbar and Suicidal.
