Come for the chocolate chip bagels and coffee, stay for the opportunity to talk with student journalists who constitute the staff of the national-award winning Arapahoe Pinnacle!
ACC’s student-run Pinnacle Journalism Club is hosting a meet-and-greet for the student body outside the library–Main campus, 2nd floor–on Thursday, November 13th, from 9:30am-1:00pm. Complimentary bagels and coffee (and goodie bags!) in exchange for your opinion on why journalism matters, and what topics you’d like to see us write more about.
The event is hosted by Club President and Editor-in-Chief Amber Woodcock, Club Vice President and Editor Andrew Richards, and Faculty Advisor Jamey Trotter–with an assist from the Office of Student Life.
Students who download the new app for our online publication will be entered into a raffle to win a $50 gift card from the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema; drawing at noon (get there before then to get your ticket!).
Learn about the many opportunities available to publish with us, and why you might consider taking a journalism class or two during your time at ACC.
Hope to see you there!
