Come and be Crushed at the Fourth Annual Denver Black Sky Festival
Gather your spike gauntlets, bullet belts, leather jackets and battle vests emblazoned with patches – Denver Black Sky IV is coming your way for another evening of aural terror!
The annual underground metal showcase presented by Relapse Records and Denver’s Black Sky Brewery will rupture the ears of Denver metalheads at the famed Gothic Theatre this Saturday the 10th. True to tradition, the fourth installment is inclusive of established acts, local rippers and rising prospects.
Opening this year’s night of savage festivities will be three successive sets from Denver groups Bloodstrike, 908 and Of Feather and Bone. Following them will be sets from Salt Lake City’s SubRosa, Denver’s own Primitive Man, Terrorizer LA and (lucky for Denver) a farewell show from Illinois grind outfit Weekend Nachos.
This year’s festival will also include a hit-for-hit battle set on two stages between NY death metal vets Skinless and CA death metal vets Exhumed. Finally, concluding the bludgeoning extravaganza will be recently reunited NY thrashers Demolition Hammer.
Now look over that list again and give me a solid reason not to attend.
Tickets are still available on the Gothic Theatre’s website. Bring earplugs.
