Halloween spirit is alive and well at Arapahoe Community College, where students joined Riley Simmons and Jasper for a lighthearted Man on the Street interview about costumes, candy, and campus favorites.
From classic creatures to creative twists, students had plenty of costume ideas in the works. “I’m going as a vampire,” one student said confidently. Another laughed, admitting they were “torn between a cat and a pirate,” while one confessed to having “a closet full of costumes” but no decision yet. Some were impressively prepared — one student said they’d been ready since last year after scoring their costume on sale right after Halloween.
The questions didn’t stop at costumes. When asked which professor they’d dress up as, answers showed just how much personality ACC’s faculty brings to campus. One student chose a criminology professor for his “giant suit jackets,” while another picked English professor Monica Fugali because “she has the best hair.”
Candy debates brought the biggest laughs. Kit Kats, Sour Patch Kids, and Snickers were crowned top-tier favorites, while Almond Joys, jelly beans, and candy corn were sentenced to “jail time.”
Whether they were hyping up their costumes or defending controversial candy takes, ACC students proved one thing: Halloween isn’t just a holiday — it’s a full-on vibe at ACC.
