“Legally Blonde: The Musical” Coming To HHS

Fans of the movie “Legally Blonde” are in luck. Heritage High School (HHS) will be putting on a musical version of the story this week. 

“Legally Blonde: The Musical”  tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl and  fashion merchandising major. After graduating, Woods decides to pursue a law career at Harvard Law School in order to follow the man of her dreams. 

The show will run March 16, 17, and 18 at 6 p.m. and March 19 at 2 p.m. in the HHS theater. Tickets are $12 for students and $15 for adults; they are available online, or can be purchased at the door with cash.

The show is rated PG-13 for mild language, as well as discussion of sexual assault and sexual harassment. 

“The students at Heritage High School have put tons of work into this energetic, challenging show. “Legally Blonde: The Musical” is spectacle after spectacle, and I am blown away by the sheer talent of the performers and the backstage crew,” said Liam Kelley, Assistant Director. “It’s fun, it’s relevant, and it’s bound to make you laugh out loud.”
