The Arapahoe Community College journalism club is bringing the story of Bassem Youssef, an Egyptian heart surgeon who brought satire to the people of Egypt during the Arab Spring, to ACC in their screening of “Tickling Giants,” November 30th at 4:00 PM in M4110.

Tickling Giants follows Youssef as he meets his hero, Jon Stewart, and faces backlash for jokes regarding religion and government.

The showing is part of an international effort to spark dialogue about the abuse of power and free speech.

Be sure to join the community as they learn about what can happen when leaders go unchecked.

Free popcorn and drinks will be provided and stick around after the film for a group discussion regarding the issues presented in the film.
