Denver’s Dreadnought to Celebrate Album Release at the Marquis Theater
This weekend is a big one for Denver metal. Along with a new release from Denver’s heaviest act, Primitive Man, we also have the latest Dreadnought album, A Wake in Sacred Waves.
To mark the occasion, Dreadnought will be hosting an album release show at the Marquis Theater this Saturday, performing alongside other Denver acts.
Dreadnought has been reeling in numerous positive reviews and press coverage from various media outlets who are praising their direction, including both Noisey and Decibel Magazine. After all, the group’s incorporation of classical and jazz instruments into their refined brand of progressive doom has provided listeners with a new and refreshing sound.
I can guarantee that Dreadnought is a fresh live entity, blending various styles of music into metal.
Opening the night is Denver hardcore trio Kenaima, who are also celebrating the release of a new EP. Also playing are Arvada’s own The Flight of Sleipnir, who will be performing their mythological doom, and Ford Theatre Reunion, who’ll be showcasing their Kentucky-bred, wacky brand of folk.
Show your direct support by enjoying local music and pizza. Grab your tickets from the Marquis Theater website.
