Dead Cross at the Ogden Theatre
Find yourself wondering what kind of racket members of Slayer, Faith No More and Retox would create if they formed a band? Head to the Ogden Theater this Saturday the 23rd to hear that very racket.
Dave Lombardo (ex-skinsman for mighty Cali thrash progenitors Slayer) and Mike Patton (uncanny vocalist of Faith No More) will be bringing newly formed SoCal group Dead Cross to Denver for a performance of visceral hardcore punk.
Rounded out by Members of California hardcore band Retox, Dead Cross unifies members with an impressive pedigree who have created an intense and wacky modern hardcore spectacle.
Lucky Denver is the final stop on their North American tour in support of their new self-titled LP, released last August. The album functions as an unstable concoction of fleeting compositions veering towards a plenary meltdown. Subject your ears to the violent outbursts here.
Don’t expect to hear Slayer or Faith No More when the group takes the stage. Instead, expect a tornado of hardcore hysteria akin to The Accüsed and DRI.
Tickets are still available, accessible through the Ogden Theater’s website.
