It’s here ACC, and I feel your pain. With every paper submission and every reading assignment, Midterms are that much closer.
Is stress weighing you down like a ton of bricks? Are your shoulders achy from the weight of the world gaining one study guide at a time? Take some stress off by going outside and taking advantage of the last few warm days ahead. The benefits your body and mind will feel from being active outside are limitless.
Unleash your inner child; run around aimlessly for a while. I promise, as silly as this sounds, it will do wonders for you.
Writer’s block? Go out to the park with your little ones or take Fido for a run.
Fresh air equals a fresh mind.
It has been shown that physical exercise releases endorphins that tingle all the right places. Couple that with the vitamin D you soak in from the sun and you have a fantastic pick-me-up, for free!
Not sure what to do? Check out Groupon and take advantage of some of the outdoor-oriented activities they have for sale. Go horseback riding. Strap into one of Colorado’s zip line tours and make some memories. Searching for a good date idea with a special somebody? Knock out two birds with one stone as you soar through the Colorado tree lines some 200 feet in the air. Romantic and relatively cheap at about 90 dollars per person, this one of a kind experience is one of the many ways you can spice things up.
Do yourselves a favor and maybe score some brownie points with your significant other: go outside and make a date of it. The sunshine and warm weather will be gone before you know it.
