The Pinnacle wants YOU to join Journalism Club

Journalism Club will officially join ACC’s ever growing list of clubs at the start of the Fall 2016 semester. The Arapahoe Pinnacle is seeking your involvement, input and creativity via the Journalism Club during the 2016-17 school year.

There are multiple jobs available–tell us your strengths and interests and, together, we will succeed.

What if you aren’t interested in writing news?

You would be surprised at what all goes into a news site!

Are you interested in photography, live concerts, art exhibitions, human interest stories, new release media (movies, books, Netflix series, etc.)?

How about social media, videography, event management, HTML and graphic design?

A plethora of interests and skills goes into every single edition of the Arapahoe Pinnacle.

During the 2015-16 calendar year, ACC Journalism students worked to implement a student news site that would represent the interests and values of the entire ACC community. During the course of two semesters, and under the guidance of Professors Bob Burdick and Julie Wheeler, the Pinnacle staff has created a dedicated workflow and a work model that can be easily duplicated by future staff members in years to come.

If you are interested in joining Journalism Club, or if you want to submit a topic or article for consideration, please email Jamey Trotter , faculty advisor for the new Journalism Club, [email protected].
