The Cherry Cricket restaurant will be opening a new location just a five minute drive away from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton this May.

Located at 819 West Littleton Boulevard, the location was previously a neighborhood restaurant named Crestwood.

“This location is very special to us because we love the idea that we can bring a storied Littleton restaurant location back to life so that more generations can make new memories here,” said Samantha Taxin, General Manager of Cherry Cricket Littleton.

Cherry Cricket has been operating since 1945, and this new restaurant will be its third location. Cherry Cricket has been ranked the best burger restaurant in several magazines over the years, such as USA Today, and won first place in the 2021 Denver Burger Battle, according to their website.

The company Breckenridge-Wynkoop, LLC will own the new location and also owns the other two locations of Cherry Cricket in Cherry Creek and Downtown Denver. The company owns the restaurants Wynkoop Brewing Company in Denver, Phantom Canyon Brewing Company in Colorado Springs, and The Ale House in Grand Junction as well.

Cherry Cricket began building in November of 2022 and is working with Littleton-based MA Architects and Jordy Construction to build the new location.

The new restaurant will be “slightly smaller than our other two locations in terms of square footage,” said Taxin, “but will have over 400 seats, including more than 100 outdoor seats in the Burger Garden.”

Taxin said the Littleton location will have many familiar staples of its other two locations, such as the neon sign out front and the fish aquarium, to give it a “vintage cozy feel.”

The Cherry Cricket will be hiring for its new location in the near future. Taxin said she will be looking for managers that are “strong, passionate, and inspiring leaders” who “love the Cherry Cricket as much as I do.”

She said that managers “will train within the Cherry Creek and Ballpark Crickets to really get a feel of the culture, food, and people, so we can emulate that same feel at the Littleton location.”

Cherry Cricket will be hiring for all restaurant positions and will keep hiring information updated on the Cherry Cricket website
