Arapahoe Community College will be welcoming students with a barbeque on Aug. 12.

The barbeque, which will take place from 11:00 a.m-2:00 p.m. at the Littleton Campus, will give students an opportunity to get to know the school before the semester begins. Students will be able to explore employment opportunities, clubs and activities, as well as tour the campus and find their classes.

Advisors will be available to help students with their academic plans, while students will also be able to connect with the Financial Aid Office. To get a jump start on the semester, students can also pay for parking passes and buy their books.

While the barbeque will help students connect with the school, it’s also a place to have fun. Free food and ACC gear will be available and students can even enter in a drawing to win a three credit scholarship.

Interested students can RSVP online here. Contact LaMario Fortson at [email protected] or 303.797.5609 for more information or accommodations.
