Photo Essay: Getting into the Spirit of the Season
ACC’s Holiday Fair
On Nov. 2 and 3, Arapahoe Community College (ACC) hosted the Holiday Fair, previously known as the Artisan’s Fair, in the first floor Summit Room. Walking in, the room smelled of pumpkins and pine trees, noting a change in the season. Christmas music played in the background to get attendees into a festive mood. The fair was made up of local artisans and people in the community who had commodities to sell. Many of the booths were manned by ACC faculty members who wanted to sell some of their products and spread the joy.
This event was filled with festive holiday items. Each table held unique things to offer and interesting stories behind the products. Talking with the staff members and local artisans selling their handmade items, attendees could gather a real sense of holiday cheer, and maybe even left the Holiday Fair with a goodie in hand.
