Renaissance Man, ACC’s Fire Kiln Operation
An interesting perspective from Arts and Humanities/ Ceramic 1 class on Oct. 25, 2019. Showing the process of what fire kilns do along with learning a little bit about the purpose. After talking to Jonah Amadeus about this yearly event, there is a science to the madness. Here are a few pictures of the finished pieces and footage showing the wood being inserted into the fire kiln keeping the ceramic molds heated throughout the night.
