The annual ENG 121/122 essay contest is upon us. Submissions are due April 7th by 5:00 p.m..

The contest is open to any ACC student who took ENG 121 or ENG 122 during the current academic school year. Submissions MUST be essays that were written for either of those courses, and were graded assignments.

Students may submit up to one essay for each of the courses they have taken during the current calendar year.

Submitted essays must be as-written for the course, with minor changes allowed for proofreading. Each submission should be free from any comments, grades or names .

SUBMISSION FORMAT 

The essay contest submission sheet must be attached to the essay and must include the instructor’s signature—or if emailed, a confirmation email from the instructor.

Also, a cover sheet, attached to the essay, should include

* Student’s name and S number

* Course: ENG 121 or 122 and section number

* Original due date of the essay

* Instructor’s name

The essay itself should include no identifying names so that the work can be assigned a number insuring anonymity.
