2. Research the company, the position and the employees before the interview.
3. Arrive early. Be sure to leave home early if you aren’t familiar with the location.
4. Dress professionally. The first impression is crucial.
5. Come prepared. Arrive with pen and paper, extra resume copies and questions to ask.
6. Never bring chewing gum, food or drinks to an interview!
7. Be cordial to everyone in the office, not just the interviewer. They are all potential co-workers.
8. Pay attention to body language as well as verbal communication.
9. Avoid talking too much or too fast. Don’t let nerves or anxiety get the best of you.
