Philadelphia scored twice, with the first goal coming at 2:09 in the first from Sean Couturier, assisted by Noah Juulsen and Owen Tippett. The second was the last goal of the game at 5:58 in the second by Travis Konecny, assisted by Emil Andrae and Christian Dvorak.
Mackenzie Blackwood started in the net for Colorado, saving 23 of 25 shots and ending with a .920% save percentage.
For Philadelphia, it was Samuel Ersson getting the start in the crease, stopping 25 of 28 shots, ending with a .893% save percentage.
