March Mindfulness
If midterms have you stressed out, Arapahoe Community College may have a solution for you. This week and next week, the Dean of Students along with the Colorado Spirit All Health Network will be hosting a Mindfulness Table Top Talk to help students take control of their mental health.
This talk will be hosted on Thursday, March 3 from 10 a.m. – noon at the Littleton Campus (2nd floor student lounge).
The Dean of Students will also be encouraging folks to sign up for the Wellness Hour Lunch training the following week. Space for lunch is limited, please arrive earlier to get a spot.
The Wellness Hour Lunch:
- Monday, March 7 from 10 a.m.- noon at the Littleton Campus near the Dean of Student Office, Lunch in room M3740
- Wednesday, March 9 from 10 a.m. – noon at the Sturm Collaboration Campus in room 123
- Thursday, March 10 from 10 a.m. – noon at the Parker Campus in room 104
The Colorado Spirit All Health Network is a mental health service that connects individuals with counselors and creates individualized treatment plans to assist with a variety of mental health issues. They describe themselves as “a nonprofit mental health organization providing counseling, psychiatry, crisis services, substance use treatment, and more.”
This event will give students tools for addressing self-preservation, self-care, the stress cycle, and more. Come to the event to listen and interact with others and see what tools offer the most benefit.
