5k Polar Plunge

The 5k Polar Plunge was held on an unusually warm Sunday on March 7th at Washington Park in Denver, CO. This run had a fun twist at the end of the race where willing participants would be able to “take the plunge” and get a random liquid splashed onto them.
Due to Covid-19 the crowd was smaller in size then during previous years where it would be a much bigger event. But even with the limited amount of people the event exceeded the target goal of $105,000!
The event was hosted by Special Olympics Colorado, in partnership with Westerra Credit Union, and sponsored by Anytime Fitness.
