ACC Foundation’s ‘Grapes to Grads’ set for Nov. 12 in Highlands Ranch

ACC can make Thursday night feel like Friday night with the ACC Foundation’s Sixth Annual Grapes to Grads event on Thursday, Nov. 12.

The gala event again promises to be a night of music, wine tasting, food from Littleton restaurants and a silent auction for early Christmas shopping. You can start the weekend early at Mike Ward Infiniti in Highlands Ranch between 6:30 and 9 p.m. on that evening.

All proceeds go to the ACC Foundation, which in turn uses those funds to enrich student learning at ACC.

The ACC Foundation and its Board of Directors are dedicated to serving the community by assisting ACC in providing an educated workforce to the community and finding ways to support the college by bring public awareness of the college and its contributions.

Through this awareness, the Foundation seeks to gain support for its mission which is to supplement programs and services that funding cuts have reduced or eliminated.

With support from the private sector the major goals of the foundation are:

• Scholarships

• Child Care Stipends for ACC Child Development Center

• Faculty and Staff Innovation Grants

• New Technology and Equipment

• Tutor and other student services

• Pursue new fundraising opportunities

The Foundation’s mission is vitally important to ACC because of funding cuts and increasing costs that plague every institution of higher learning. The dedication of the Foundation directors to education, students and the college makes a serious difference in determining the goals each student can achieve.
