Through The Lens: The Next Generation of Local Artists
From Jan. 22 through Feb. 11, 2020, Arapahoe Community College is hosting a grand showcase of art from Littleton public schools. The gallery is free to all and is held in the Colorado Gallery of the Arts on the Littleton Campus. All art was handpicked by local art teachers and displays art from Kindergarten all the way to 12th grade.
The art features a variety of mediums from colored pencil to pen, to sculpture to paintings, and even digital photography.
ACC hosts the event annually, and has done so for at least the previous fifteen years.
The High schools featured in the gallery are: Options High School, Heritage High School, Littleton High School, Arapahoe High School, and the Pheonix Program 10-12th grades.
The Middle schools featured in the gallery are: Options Middle School, Newton Middle School, Goddard Middle School, Powell Middle School, and Euclid Middle School.
And the Elementary schools featured in the gallery are: Peabody, Sandburg, Hopkins, Moody, Twain, Lenski, Field, East, Franklin, Runyon, Wilder, Highland, and the Centennial Academy of Fine Arts.
