Man On Campus: Does ACC Support Medicare For All?
As the 2020 Democratic Primaries heat up, the differences between the progressive wing and the centrist wing of the Democratic party become more stark. One of the most important and fiercely debated issues of the primary is healthcare, with the progressive wing demanding Medicare For All, while the centrist wing claims that it’s just too expensive and that ordinary Americans in the heartland don’t want to part with their private insurance. To help gain some perspective on this debate, our Editor-In-Chief Jaymes Grundmann hit the streets of campus to see what ordinary people thought of the issue.
