Cavalera Brothers to Play Denver
More stories from Jake Tharan
Max and Iggor Cavalera, the original founding members of Brazilian heavy metal progenitors Sepultura, will bring the Return to Roots tour to the Summit Music Hall on February 25th.
The second leg of this tour will commence in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Sepultura’s 1996 studio effort Roots. The record will be performed in its entirety, promising an exciting performance for longtime followers of Sepultura and the Cavalera brothers. Direct support will see New York death metal veterans Immolation conquer the stage and the tour will be opened by Maryland/PA grind quartet Full of Hell. Arrive early to catch the sets of local acts Medina Grooves and Eye of Minerva.
Sepultura and Immolation helped shape dark, extreme music throughout its developing stages, with Sepultura rising as an early torchbearer for South American heavy metal. Full of Hell stands firmly among the best in younger acts gaining steam, thus we have a stacked bill exhibiting varied styles ready to ravage the Summit.
Tickets are available through the Summit Music Hall’s website.
