Landslide Victory For Proposition 106: The Power To Choose Your Ending

Coloradans will now have a choice when to end their pain if facing a terminal illness, Proposition 106 passed Tuesday Nov.8th in a landslide victory. Over two-thirds of Coloradans said ‘yes’ to the ballot measure,which allows doctors to prescribe a medication that will end ones life.

Supporters of the measure stated that they knew it had passed within an hour of the polls closing. This makes Colorado the Sixth state to offer Medically Assisted Death. “It is nice to know if I am ever in that situation, I’ll have the option, it would be my choice.” one supporter states.
