Nothing Kills Jake Tharan

Jake Tharan died on Monday, October 30, 2016. He was taking a late night walk through a cemetery in an unknown location, as he found it fitting with Halloween on the way. He was enjoying the brisk air while surveying the eerie land before he was assailed by an unknown force. He could not identify his shapeless attacker; it was as if a phantom had launched an assault on him. Wrestling with the apparition, he attempted to out-maneuver its blows, to no avail. He felt the vaporous, icy fist connect with his jaw. He was thrust to the ground by the thin air around him. The ghostly adversary mauled him like an opponent in the ring; slicing, gnashing and clawing. With his body lying motionless and oozing blood, the unseen raider had ceased its attacks. Jake struggled to regain a conscious frame of mind; he thought it inconceivable that a voracious spirit had left him in this state. He had been mangled by his own shadow and defeated seemingly by nothing. Nothing had been his aggressor and had left him clinging to life. His mentality defeated him in a deception against himself. The mind was a terrible thing to lose that night. He is survived by nothing.
