General Store 45: local shop with a vintage flair
General Store 45 is a modern, yet vintage general store that offers cheap coffee and snacks to fuel even the most defeated minds. Lucky for you, it’s just down the street on Downtown Littleton’s own Main Street.
At its core, General Store 45 is a place to get a quick pour-over coffee and a snack. But to Shane George, Owner & Creative Director, the storefront at 2479 W Main St is more than a place people can buy hot beverages and sweet treats.
To George, the shop is a way to shed some light on some of the other small businesses in Littleton and neighboring communities by offering locally produced food items and merchandise.
That means selling grab-and-go lunches for any time of day from Etai’s Food, a local Denver brand, SaltiSweet Ice Cream, a company based here in Littleton, and Goddess Garden lotions and body products, made in Boulder, Co.
They venture out also, offering fun items from all over the country, including whoopee cushions, fun glasses and Pinterest-worthy home decorations making General Store 45 the perfect place to take a break between class.
