Local Florist welcomes budget-conscious students
Need a florist who offers a personalized touch? Look no further than across the street from ACC main campus.
Littleton Flower Shop, located right next to Hudson Gardens, is a locally owned and family-operated business that has been in Littleton since 1936. Owner/Designer Dawn Ellis employs her daughter in the store, her two sons handle deliveries and there’s a small, but very talented, team of florists that fills the orders.
“We can personalize orders for our customers,” said Ellis. Presentation bouquets, balloons, gift baskets with chocolates or fruit, even themed orders–such as superheroes–are all within the realm of possibility.
Upon entering the Littleton Flower Shop, you are enveloped by the glorious fragrance of a garden in bloom. The shop receives fresh flowers daily, so there are many types of flowers in-stock and ready to choose from. If there is a specific variety of flower that you are looking for, call ahead to ensure availability. They need at least a 24 hour notice to order specialty stock.
The Littleton Flower Shop understands the monetary restrictions of students, and they are willing to work within a student’s budget to create a beautiful gift. Drop in, explain your budget and the friendly staff will help build the best arrangement based on your taste and price. One tip: bring in your own flower vase to add a personalized touch to your arrangement, and perhaps shave off a little cash to put towards a few extra flowers.
Customers can place orders conveniently over the phone or online, and delivery is available for orders over $35. Convenience aside, paying a visit to this shop is a real experience. The Littleton Flower Shop will fill walk-in orders immediately, so, unless you have a large order to fill, you should stop by and see what has kept this flower shop in business for 80 years.
