At the beginning of the pandemic many skateparks were closed down; some like the Denver Skatepark were even flooded with sand to keep skaters out but with the pandemic nearing it’s end skateparks like this have been reopened. On April 4th, skaters took advantage of the calm weather before the storm at the Denver Skatepark. Even though many skaters were not wearing a mask it’s fair to say they maintained their distance from each other and many either came alone or stayed in small groups avoiding each other through the skatepark. Even with COVID still around, skateboarders seem to have started their return to normality.
