We all know who they are, and they each have made a name for themselves since they entered our lives ten years ago with their hit show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”. Now is the time to look back and reflect on some of the important aspects of the show, because where would America be without the infamous crying scenes, dramatic fights, and naked photo shoots?

Probably off living a normal life, yet here we are, ten years later.

Kardashian History:

The Kardashians have been on “E” since 2007. Ryan Seacrest created the series, but the big names we know now are Kim, Kourtney and Khloe. Also making their way into the empire are Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Kim sort of made the family famous because of her sex tape with Ray J; but the Kardashians were recognized before that. In the 90’s their dad, Robert Kardashian, was OJ’s Simpson’s lawyer.

Kim’s Memorable Moments:

1. Kim’s sex tape with Ray J: Kim made a sex tape with Ray J when the two of them went to Cabo, Mexico to celebrate Kim’s 23rd birthday. They filmed themselves goofing around in their hotel room and obviously having sex. I’m sure we can all agree that the Kardashians wouldn’t be here if Kim’s sex tape didn’t come to light.

So thank you, Kim and Ray.

3. Kim’s calendar shoot: Wanting to stir up more drama, Kim decided to make a calendar for her ex-boyfriend, Reggie Bush. She posed with sex appeal, dressed (or undressed) to the theme of each month. Reggie then came by, but she told him that it was just a regular photo shoot.

4. Kim’s 72-day marriage: Who can forget the time when everyone thought Kim was actually going to settle down and become an adult? Wow, were we wrong. Kim’s infamous marriage to Kris Humphries lasted a measly 72 days. Some joked around, saying that the marriage only lasted that long because the two ran out of sex positions to try. Regardless, Kim has proved that she can hold a relationship; her and rapper-producer Kanye West have been married since 2014. The couple now has two children.

5. Kim’s Playboy Photoshoot: Kim posed for Playboy in 2007, but the reality star was uncomfortable and later said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, “I’m sorry I did Playboy.”

Kylie’s Cosmetics:

Kylie Jenner has made a name for herself in the beauty empire by creating her very own lip kits. She makes the most of social media’s free advertising by broadcasting her products on her Snapchat story. Her lip kits are sold in minutes and she now has pop-up shops in New York City.

Kourtney and Scott’s relationship:

These two have been on and off since the show started. They’re officially broken up now, but they do have children together. Scott is still on the show, even though he is no longer with Kourtney.  Though the two have stated that they’re never getting back together, who really knows what the future holds for them?  Kourtney is now dating Younes Bendjima, a former boxer and current model.

DASH:

The first three Kardashian sisters own their own store called DASH, where they sell their own clothing lines. They have locations in Miami, New York City, and Los Angeles.

Kendall Jenner’s Modeling Career:

Kendall Jenner has made a name for herself in the modeling world. She has worked for Victoria’s Secret and many other agencies. She travels everywhere from Paris to New York City to model.

Most Dramatic Scene:

Kim had a total meltdown while in Aspen, Colorado. Kim ended up fighting with her two sisters Khloe and Kourtney because of how Khloe treated those that were hired to work on Kim’s car. Kim told them to leave and later walked in on Kourtney and Khloe talking shit about Kim.  This is where Kim’s famous line to Khloe “Don’t be so f*cking rude”, originated and the memes have been flowing ever since.

Other Stars:

Kris Jenner:

Everyone’s favorite ‘momager’ that still somehow manages to run everything. She is in charge of scheduling photo shoots and telling her children what to do — even if they’re all adults now.

Khloe’s Relationships:

Khloe and Lamar Odom were married from 2009 to 2017. Khloe is now dating Tristan Thompson who is a Canadian basketball player.

Robert Kardashian and Blac Chyna:

I can’t even deal with this relationship. Rob had a baby with Blac Chyna and they have fought constantly. Who knows exactly why these two even got a show of their own.

What’s Next:

In the latest Kardashian scandals, Khloe and Kylie Jenner are both apparently pregnant. None of them have confirmed if the reports are true or not. But, of course, these sisters have to wrap up the year with a big bang.

The Kardashian’s are an icon. Whether you hate them or love them, they’ve always managed to be in the headlines. They’re part of entertainment culture and fans enjoy seeing them doing crazy things, acting as perfect role models of what not to be.
